Cookie Statement
Which cookies this website and the client panel set, for what purpose, for how long, which are only set with your consent and how to change your choice.
This cookie statement belongs to the website https://starcore.dev and the client panel of StarCore. It is based on Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act and the GDPR.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser. Similar techniques include local storage and session storage in the browser. In this statement we call all these techniques "cookies".
2. Functional cookies (no consent needed)
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested. Under Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, no consent is required for them.

Session and security cookies are encrypted and set with the Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite attributes.
3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
On the public website we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the website is used: which pages are viewed, which websites visitors come from and which devices they use. This helps us improve the content and how the website works. We set these cookies only if you give your consent.

How we use Google Analytics:
- Google's script is only loaded after you have given consent. Without consent, no data is sent to Google and these cookies are not set.
- Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Country and region are derived from the IP address, after which the IP address is discarded.
- Google signals, advertising features and personalised advertising are switched off. The data is not shared with other Google services.
- Personal codes in web addresses, such as the link to your brief form, are removed before a page is measured.
- The statistics are deleted automatically after 14 months.
- We only look at the statistics as totals and do not use them to build profiles of individual visitors.
- Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; see Chapter 6 of our Privacy Statement (https://starcore.dev/privacy).
- The client panel and the administration panel use no analytics cookies.
4. Giving, changing or withdrawing your consent
On your first visit you see a notice at the bottom of the screen. There you can choose "Accept all", "Necessary only" or set your own preferences under "Settings". Refusing is just as easy as accepting, and the website works exactly the same without consent.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop measuring straight away and remove the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies from your browser. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of the measurement before that.
We keep your choice for 12 months. After that, or when we materially change the cookies we use, we ask for your choice again.
5. What we do not set
- No advertising or tracking cookies.
- No social media cookies.
- No cookies from other third parties, except the Cloudflare security cookies and, only with your consent, the Google Analytics cookies.
- No external fonts or embedded content that bring third-party cookies.
6. Managing or deleting cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block the functional cookies from Chapter 2, the contact form, the brief form and the client panel will no longer work correctly; the public pages remain readable, but your language and cookie choices will not be remembered.
7. Our clients' websites
This statement only concerns https://starcore.dev and the client panel. Websites that we build and host for clients have their own cookie policy, for which the client concerned is responsible.
